Polished by hand

If you were wondering how the Kenda/Morewood team bikes got their chromed finish, ponder no further. It takes hours of getting dirty and tedious polishing by hand. Pictured here are Pat and Leon having the time of their lives! Each bike takes about three to four hours to polish. 3-4hours, 10 bikes, you do the math!

Factory Facelift

With all of the action and buzz leading up to the season opening World Cup event in our home town of Pietermaritzburg, we thought it time to put a sign up outside the factory
After a day’s hard work, with health and safety risks, shaky scaffolding and plenty of frustrating moments, the home of Morewood bikes finally has a label.

Bos Suspension testing in Spain

The Kenda/Morewood team jetted off to Spain to do some suspension testing leading up to the first leg of the Nissan UCI World Cup in South Africa.

Patrick Morewood and Morewood design engineer, Fabien Lemasson joined the team to help towards getting the frame geometry right as well as discuss kinematics with Olivier Bossard for future designs on Morewood bikes.

Fresh new rides for Nathan Rennie and Mitch Delfs were professionally set up by the team and testing went well with the riders doing around 30 odd runs each, constantly giving feedback after each run helping towards getting the bikes properly dialled in.
