In a sign of their support to Morewood, its welders and their constant effort to learn and improve on their craft of welding, Fronius the Austrian welding and equipment experts came to the party providing the Morewood welders and crew with their latest welding helmet and protection offerings, perfectly matching the Fronius TIG welding machines used at the Morewood factory.

Having been users of Fronius equipment for some time Pat is now well acquainted with both the local and international representitives from Fronius’ TIG welding department, and annualy when the international representitives pay their South African collegues a visit they are sure to come past the Morewood factory, share knowledge, ask questions and give feedback on the latest trends, technology and techniques, keeping Pat and the Morewood welding crew on top of their game.

Graeme, the local Fronius representitive presented Pat, Leon, Charl and Russell with the Vizor 1000, Fronius’ top of the line welding Visor, color and style matched to the Fronius TIG welding machines used at the factory and customised with each of their names on the side [we all know how much Russell hates it when other people use HIS welding equipment].

Thanks to everyone at Fronius for their generosity and constant support over the years, we will certainly press ahead with our craft and their welding torches in hand.
