The fourth leg of the South African DH Nationals was held in Pietermaritzburg the weekend before the World Cup. This saw a lot of international riders entering the event to gain practise and course time.

Conditions were dry and the track was well loose, with a steep section to begin with, leading into a long peddling section in the middle and finishing on the 4x track at the bottom. There was a domination of Morewood bikes with some of the countries best flying the Morewood flag- to name a few - Jonty Neethling, Gary Barnard, Pierre “Prime Time” Vandermerwe, Tim Bentley, Myles Kelsey, Vicky Phillips and many more. We seem to see a Morewood domination happening in SA and its tagging on pretty fast worldwide!
