KENDA MOREWOOD AT UCI MTB WORLD CUP # 5 IN MARIBOR, SLOVENIA

Team Kenda Morewood had a spectacular weekend as Mitch Delfs takes 9th place at the 5th World Cup round of the season, in Maribor, Slovenia. Mitch Delfs was looking fast all weekend on the frighteningly fast track in Slovenia. Filled with an enormous amount of roots and natural doubles, and made slick by torrential rains on Saturday, Delfs smashed thought the rocks of the infamous rock garden, barely keeping to together.

WORLD CUP DOESN’T RETURN TO SOUTH AFRICA

There have been significant changes from this year to the World Cup. The opening round in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa has been dropped, and instead the season will open in Dalby Forest, Great Britain for a cross country only event. The cross-country takes a break for a while, with gravity events in Fort William (Scotland) and Schladming (Austria) … Read More »

KENDA MOREWOOD TEAM - WORLD CUP # 4 FORT WILLIAM

Fort William, Scotland was home to yet another World Cup this past weekend. The world’s best decended upon Aonach Mor to brave the cold and the midges and battle for the win on a legendary downhill track and one of the series long standing venues. The sun stayed out for most of the race weekend, allowing riders to let it all hang out as they smashed their way though huge braking bumps and a new woods section that caught many riders off guard in practice. Deep loam and newly exposed roots turned the largely off camber section … Read More »

Here It Is! Dirt Magazines Bike Test: Morewood Makulu

‘The Morewood rolled into the office at the tail end of last year, one of the first production versions, put together by one of the team of engineers down at BOS suspension in Toulouse. Since that time it has been in constant use, most certainly not one of the bikes that gets buried in a corner of the office’.
Frame
“It’s correct from the outset.”
In terms of geometry it’s a very straightforward bike, but don’t for a second think that each millimetre and degree has not been agonised over.

These angles are deliberate and certainly not the work of a guesser. This … Read More »
