The Fox/Morewood guys headed up to the local Pietermaritzburg Downhill track on Friday, which was used as the official UCI World Cup track in April to film for the Fox Forward TV series being shown on SuperSport. Travis Browning, Jonty Neethling and Myself hit up a few runs for the camera and the super powdery conditions proved difficult for myself and Jonty as we had the flu and spent half the time coughing up a lung or wiping our noses. They were felling the trees on the top section on the track and riding there was a no go, so we were a bit bummed about that, but it turned out to be a pretty good day of filming anyway. All three of us hooked up nicely on our Morewoods although I managed to fling it over the first big table. Nothing serious, “or unusual,” I tend to crash a lot.

After the shoot it was straight to the famous Thistle Hotel for a good old pub lunch and a cold beer or two.  Lloyd Ramsey from NSRMTB was there to snap some shots for his site as well as get an inside scoop for his write up. www.nsrmtb.co.za .
